About the Acupuncturist:​

Mei-Sang Hsieh, MPS, L.Ac.

(Pronounced May-Song See-ay)

Mei-Sang has been a licensed acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in the states of New York and Connecticut since 2006.  She is also a licensed massage therapist specialized in deep tissue, trigger points, myofascial release and medical massage with over 30 years of experience. 

 

Mei-Sang is a native of Taiwan.  She holds a BFA in Dance Performance from Purchase College, an Associates degree in massage therapy from the Swedish Institute, College of Health Sciences, where she was also an instructor.  She graduated with Distinction from Mercy College, where she received a Master of Professional Studies in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science.  These degrees required an intense 4 year study with over 3,000 hours of classroom, lab and internship time including interning at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle.

 

She continues to learn through post-graduate studies including certifications from Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Hospital and advanced studies in infertility, IVF support, orthopedic and pain management.
 

Mei-Sang is deeply committed to the care of her patients.  In addition to using her knowledge and skills, she strives to be attentive, supportive and non-judgmental toward all patients that seek her care.

 

Although Mei-Sang sees a wide variety of conditions in all ages, she specializes in cancer support, musculo-skeletal dysfunction, infertility, IVF support and stress reduction.
